Alpharetta City Center
Alpharetta, Georgia
The Alpharetta City Center project in Alpharetta, Georgia, is a new construction endeavor spanning 25 acres. This completed project transforms the area into a vibrant urban node. The development includes 168 luxury apartments, 31 retail spaces, and a 445-vehicle parking deck. New multi-purpose buildings enhance the suburban community by offering an array of restaurants and boutique-style stores along Main Street, Market Street, and Commerce Street.
The design emphasizes a blend of materials reminiscent of historic American downtowns, incorporating innovative products like Kebony and Tiger Wood for an enduring small-town atmosphere. Each storefront, approved individually by the Design Review Committee, provides a unique sense of calmness and individuality. This attention to detail resulted in improved construction documents and a harmonious aesthetic.
With Construction Types V-A and II-B, and Occupancy Types B (Business), M (Mercantile), and R (Residential), the project required meticulous coordination among diverse contractors, architects, and developers. The result is a dynamic community space that marries historic charm with modern utility.
This project was successfully completed by Place Maker Design, prior to the establishment of FUSE Design Studio and was worked on by Timothy Helms, a current team member of FUSE Design Studio.
