Hunt Street Condos

In the heart of downtown Durham, North Carolina, Hunt Street Condos brings new life to a once-underutilized urban parcel. Envisioned as a modern residential sanctuary, the 30-unit community embraces both innovation and context, weaving contemporary design into the industrial character of the neighborhood. The development centers on an advanced auto-elevator system and a two-story garage, features that streamline urban living while maximizing valuable space for residents.

The design intent was to elevate the urban experience by creating interiors that feel open, crafted, and purposeful. Large expanses of glass, thoughtfully placed terraces, and clean structural lines allow natural light to sweep through the homes, capturing shifting views of Durham’s vibrant cityscape. Public spaces were reconceived as inviting transitions between street and sanctuary, balancing the energy of the surrounding district with the calm of residential retreat. In every gesture; whether in material selections, circulation, or the integration of smart-living technology, Hunt Street Condos reflects a commitment to refined simplicity and forward-looking design at the center of a growing city.
